You Are Your Own Book

The Only Puzzle That Matters

I’m sitting in my office surrounded by an exhaustive library of books. Words of others. Valuable in their own right—no doubt. However, they are not my words. I am my own book.

Your Own Words

What does this mean? It means many things. It means that I am my autobiography, not my biography. I am my own phraseology . . . my own voice. Only my words allow me to express my originality. I am my words and more. I write my own words, therefore I am. This offshoot of Descartes’ declaration means I am an individual. I am unique.

You are your own words as well. You are your own book. Write your uniqueness into every word, poem, essay, and article–everything you write. Weave your individuality into the way you do everything in life. Imprint yourself on the world. Leave a legacy.

Words as Seeds

Leave a trail of words that express your original self. Let each page you write express your authenticity. Word by creative word, you meticulously build the book of you. It’s not bound with a cover but spread amongst the stars as seeds. Seeding new written worlds with your essence.
