With your loving kindness
fill us with joy..

With your holy breath
infuse us with spirit..

With your tender mercy
give us hope.

With your faithful words
give us meaning.

With your infinite wisdom
raise us up.

With your compassion
save us..
–Terry Chitwood

These verses were inspired by parts of Psalm 145. God is great; God is good. Psalm 145 reminds me of the song, “All Good Gifts” from Godspell:
“All good gifts around us
Are sent from Heaven above
Then thank the Lord
Thank the Lord
For all His love”

Trust

We are asked to trust in God’s goodness and infinite wisdom. God weaves layers of meaning into our lives, an intricate matrix guiding us down the path of our destiny. Amazing miracles greet us at different stages of our journey, adding energy and excitement to our unfolding drama. We fall into the arms of trust . . . into the arms of faith.

Flowing Love

Bless the Lord who leads us forward; bless the Lord whose kingdom awaits us. Your grace is as abundant as the stars in the sky, as vast as the galaxies, and as beautiful as a child’s smile. Your love is as soft as blossoms on the wind, as warm as sunlight on the skin—a warmth that flows into the heart of the world.
